Someone up there must not like me...

I did some FV last night and everything was going well. I managed to get a few Iffys and I was getting decent exp... Well right when I am about to hit 90%, I see a Tauv. So I start hitting it and I quickly notice that my pots aren't pumping. I see my HP decline and I try to escape to no avail. I even walked away from the sucker but nothing happened.

It was a strange DC because it appeared that I was receiving packets from the server but the server wasn't receiving any from me. Eventually I had to kill the game process because I was stuck. In any case this is extremely frustrating because I am getting so close to 50, but it seems that something does not want me to get there. I am trying my hardest to remain optimistic but, it's incredibly difficult to resist the urge to blow up some items...
